After so long without Live at Leeds, we’re as excited as you are that the festival is now round the corner! Below are the Covid regulations for the festival, please read carefully, especially if you’re wanting to attend the O2 Academy.
You will not be required to show your COVID status to gain entry to this year's festival, with the exception of O2 Academy Leeds, where they have a pre-existing policy in place that you will need to adhere to.
We do however, strongly encourage all attendees to take a lateral flow test within 24 hours of arrival at the festival, but this is not a requirement of entry and you will not need to show evidence.
If you do test positive then please do not attend the festival.
If you are planning on visiting the O2 Academy at any point throughout the day, then you must meet their COVID requirements to gain entry. This will be facilitated using an O2 Academy wristband which will prove your Covid status, explained below.
You must provide proof of either:
- A negative lateral flow test OR
-Double vaccination OR
- Natural immunity through a positive PCR in the past 6 months/over 10 days,
The exact parameters set out here (FAQ’s for the Academy are available on the same link).
You must provide this proof at the festival wristband exchange (Leeds City College, Quarry Hill Campus) in exchange for a O2 Academy wristband, which will gain you continued access to the venue all day. This will be available from a clearly marked collection point immediately after you have received your festival wristband, stewards will be on hand to point you in the right direction too. If you wish to attend the O2 Academy at any point in the day, please collect your O2 Academy Wristband here. The festival wristband exchange opens at 10am and runs until 6pm. O2 Academy wristbands will only be available once you have collected your festival wristband, and are only valid alongside your festival wristband. There is no extra cost for the O2 Academy wristband.
You will also be able to show your COVID-19 status for an O2 Academy wristband at the O2 Academy Box Office throughout the day if necessary.
